Television presenter Amanda Holden marked Britain's hottest June on record by wearing a red bikini on Saturday. Temperatures in the UK soared above 34C, prompting Holden, 55, to share a photo of herself in a Melissa Odabash two-piece while posing on a garden swing. She showcased her toned physique in the swimwear, highlighting her abs and legs.
In an accompanying Instagram post, Holden mentioned she had spent the day with swimwear designer Melissa Odabash and singer Alesha Dixon. She captioned the image, "The best day in this beautiful weather! Wearing @melissaodabash of course. Swipe to see the bikini queen herself along with my lovely @aleshaofficial -what a fab lunch all together-with our girls too."
Holden had previously found other ways to stay cool during the heatwave. Earlier in the week, she doused her Heart Radio co-host Jamie Theakston with a bucket of ice water during a game on air. Theakston was drenched on the third attempt after choosing between four buckets, three of which contained confetti.
During the radio show, Holden wore a long blue dress and white heels, while Theakston wore an England football shirt. Holden has previously shown her support for the England national team, having worn the team's kit to Heart Radio Breakfast the previous week, paired with white stilettos. She was pictured with co-presenters Jamie Theakston and Ashley Roberts, who wore the US kit with white heels. The presenter has consistently supported the national football team in past tournaments and is a noted fan of Everton F.C. at club level.
