Alan Cumming's 'The Traitors' Season 5 Cast Revealed, Featuring Reality Stars and Broadway Veterans
Peacock announced 23 new contestants for its hit reality competition series, including personalities from 'Real Housewives,' 'The Bachelor,' and Broadway.
The cast for the fifth season of Peacock's "The Traitors" has been announced, featuring a mix of reality television stars, actors, and singers. The group of 23 contestants will compete for a cash prize of up to $250,000 in Alan Cumming's Scottish castle.
Among the notable names joining the competition are Whitney Leavitt, known from "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," and three stars from "The Real Housewives" franchise: Bronwyn Newport of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City," Cynthia Bailey of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," and Gizelle Bryant of "The Real Housewives of Potomac."
Reality television mainstays Craig Conover from "Southern Charm" and Joey Graziadei, who previously starred on "The Bachelor" and "Dancing with the Stars," are also set to compete. "RuPaul's Drag Race" alumna Bianca Del Rio and "Survivor" and "The Challenge" veteran Michele Fitzgerald will bring their strategic skills to the game.
The season will also feature performances from Broadway and television star Kristin Chenoweth, who previously worked with host Alan Cumming on the musical "Annie" and the Apple TV+ series "Schmigadoon!". Other celebrity contestants include actor Dominic Monaghan, known for his role in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, and comedian Iain Stirling, the voice of "Love Island."
The announcement follows the premiere of "The Traitors: New Blood," a civilian-focused iteration of the series airing on NBC and Peacock. While "New Blood" airs through the fall, "The Traitors" Season 5 is slated for release on Peacock exclusively in 2027.
Previous seasons of "The Traitors" have featured well-known figures such as Lisa Rinna, Phaedra Parks, and Cirie Fields, with Rob Rausch winning the entire prize pot in the Season 4 finale.
