“Shark Tank” star Barbara Corcoran has voiced her opinion on reality television personality Kylie Jenner’s prolonged home renovation project, deeming the extensive build “not worth it.” Jenner, 26, has been working on her approximately $15 million Hidden Hills mansion since 2020, a process Corcoran believes detracts from enjoying the home.

Corcoran, a real estate tycoon herself, shared her perspective with TMZ, stating, “You don’t enjoy the home when you’re too particular about the design. When you finally get it, it’s like a showcase, and you don’t really live there.” She emphasized that this is a lesson she has “learned over the years.”

Corcoran recently completed a significant renovation of her own Manhattan penthouse, which she purchased for $16 million in October 2025. She has shared glimpses of the project on social media, noting it was nearing completion. She advised homeowners to "get the feeling of the space, then finally decorate and do it fast."

Jenner, meanwhile, has also documented her home-building journey, describing it as a "beautiful dream Italian home." In a September 6 vlog, she expressed her eagerness for the project to conclude so she could move in, sharing design approval moments with her followers. The property features an entrance with reclaimed cobblestone and extensive landscaping inspired by the San Ysidro Ranch. Inside, the home will feature reclaimed wood floors and neutral white plaster walls. Jenner has incorporated reclaimed materials throughout, including an antique fireplace for the entryway and vintage tiles for a guest bathroom.

Jenner plans to include a rose garden, a sport court, and an outdoor dining area with a pizza oven. The property also features olive trees that were originally from her sister Kendall Jenner’s property. Jenner has a history of real estate transactions, with two homes currently on the market: an $18 million Hidden Hills residence and a $38.5 million property in Holmby Hills. She has previously reflected on her past real estate choices, suggesting she has reassessed her desire for an "enormous life."
