Revolut experienced a significant service disruption on Tuesday morning, affecting thousands of customers and impacting their ability to make payments or access funds through the app. The British neobank confirmed it was addressing the issue, which began shortly after 8:00 AM BST, and stated that customer money and data remained secure.

According to outage monitor Downdetector, more than 1,500 user reports detailed problems with Revolut services. A company spokesperson acknowledged the disruption, which affected "multiple services," and issued an apology for the inconvenience. A status page on Revolut's website indicated that services including card payments, transfers, ATM withdrawals, and customer support were partially unavailable.

Social media platforms saw a number of users expressing frustration over the inability to access funds, complete transactions, or reach customer support. Revolut, which has over 80 million customers globally, is known as one of the neobanks that have emerged to challenge traditional banking institutions.
