Nectar card holders can now earn loyalty points when booking cruises with Ambassador Cruise Line, a collaboration that could yield up to 150,000 Nectar points, potentially valued at £750.

This partnership allows users of the Sainsbury's loyalty program to collect points on eligible cruises. The value of these points can vary depending on where they are redeemed, as different retailers offer different conversion rates. Passengers can also use their accumulated Nectar points to reduce the cost of a cruise booking or even cover the full fare.

The offer is valid for Ambassador Cruise Line's UK no-fly cruises and Caribbean fly-cruise holidays. The cruise line operates adult-focused voyages from various UK ports, including London Tilbury, Liverpool, Newcastle, Belfast, and Portsmouth, positioning itself as a leading affordable-quality cruise provider for adults.

To commemorate the launch, Sainsbury's and Ambassador Cruise Line are hosting a competition. One Nectar member will have the chance to win a 14-night cruise for two people in 2027.

Nectar members can link their accounts to Ambassador Cruise Line's website at www.ambassadorcruiseline.com to collect and spend points. Alternatively, points can be collected by providing a Nectar ID to Ambassador's Guest Reservations team or the Future Cruise Desk onboard their ships.

Amir Rasekh, managing director of Nectar360, stated that the partnership offers customers a new avenue to transform loyalty into experiences. Gordon Nardini, chief marketing officer at Ambassador Cruise Line, highlighted the unique proposition of being the only cruise partner where guests can both collect and spend Nectar points, marking it as a significant partnership for the company, which launched five years ago.
