Kylie Jenner has sold her long-time Hidden Hills mansion for $15.3 million, a price that falls nearly $5 million short of her original asking price. The sale of the eight-bedroom, 1.4-acre property marks the latest transaction in Jenner's extensive real estate portfolio.
Jenner, 29, initially listed the California home for $20.25 million in March. While the final sale price is lower than anticipated, it represents a profit for the reality television star and beauty mogul, who purchased the residence for $12.05 million in late 2016.
The sale comes as Jenner continues to develop a custom estate in Hidden Hills. This ongoing project, which has been rumored to be a future residence with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, is expected to be approximately 18,000 square feet and include features such as a 12-car garage, guesthouse, sports court, resort-style pool, and a separate security building.
Jenner acquired the property she most recently sold as one of three homes she purchased in Hidden Hills within an 18-month period. She bought her first home in the area at age 17 for $2.7 million, followed by another property for $6 million. Although she sold those two homes relatively quickly, the largest became a primary residence for Jenner and her two children, Stormi and Aire, with rapper Travis Scott.
Over the years, Jenner undertook extensive renovations on the mansion, originally built in 2014. She enlisted celebrity interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, aiming for a "fresh, fun vibe" with an emphasis on color, particularly pink. Bullard described the property as Jenner's "first really grown-up house," incorporating a glamorous yet playful aesthetic with bold artwork, custom furnishings, and a personalized "glam room." The home also featured a lavish entertainment area with a bar, arcade games, and cocktail tables.
The residence features an open floor plan, expansive glass doors, eight bedrooms, and eight bathrooms. The primary suite includes a sitting area, two large walk-in closets, and a balcony. For entertaining, the property offered a chef's kitchen, a great room, multiple living spaces, a home theater, game room, gym, and an office.
Outside, the grounds include a swimming pool and spa, a patio, an outdoor kitchen, and a fire pit area, with mature trees providing privacy. The expansive windows allow natural light to flood the interiors.
This transaction is part of a larger reshuffling of Jenner's real estate holdings. In December, she listed a modern mansion in Holmby Hills for $48 million. She purchased that 15,320-square-foot property for $36.5 million in 2020. The Holmby Hills property remains on the market.
Jenner's current construction project in Hidden Hills, on a five-acre parcel bought for $15 million from Miley Cyrus in 2020, is nearing completion. Planning documents detail an approximately 18,000-square-foot home with extensive amenities. Jenner has shared glimpses of the Italian-inspired estate, which features reclaimed materials and is designed for lavish outdoor entertaining.
Several members of the Kardashian-Jenner family own property in Hidden Hills, making it a familiar base for the clan. The sale of her longtime mansion represents a significant chapter in Jenner's ongoing real estate ventures.
