Edge Early Learning, a provider of childcare, kindergarten, and preschool services with approximately 70 centers across Australia, has entered voluntary administration. The company announced the development on Wednesday, stating that it is working with management to minimize disruption for families and staff.

In a statement, Edge Early Learning acknowledged the potential stress for families reliant on its services. The company assured parents that its centers in Queensland, South Australia, and the Australian Capital Territory will continue to operate on a 'business as usual' basis, with fees remaining unchanged. However, the company did note that some activities may require review or adjustment during the administration period.

Craig Shepard, David Johnstone, and Stacey Clisby from KordaMentha have been appointed as the voluntary administrators. The Daily Mail has reached out to Edge Early Learning and the Minister for Early Childhood Education, Jess Walsh, for comment. Further details are expected.
