Costco has reintroduced its popular Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Cheesecake with Whipped Topping, signaling the start of the fall season for many shoppers. The four-pound dessert, typically priced around $25, features a graham cracker crust, a pumpkin filling, and a whipped pumpkin topping dusted with spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.

The return of the cheesecake coincides with the peak season for pumpkin spice-flavored items, which have appeared in a wide range of products from beverages to baked goods. Despite some reports suggesting a decline in the popularity of pumpkin spice trends, Costco customers have expressed enthusiasm online for the return of the seasonal treat.

Social media influencer Laura Jayne Lamb, known as Costco Hot Finds, shared a video on Instagram showcasing a display of the cheesecakes, calling it "easily one of my favorite Costco Bakery cheesecakes of the entire year." Many members responded with similar praise, with one vowing to freeze individual servings and another exclaiming that "Costco bakery NEVER misses!!"

In addition to the cheesecake, Costco is also offering its 3-pound, 10-ounce pumpkin pie for $5.99 and a Pumpkin Bar Cake for $16.99. The bar cake, weighing two-and-a-half pounds, is made with layered pumpkin spice sponge cake and a creamy pumpkin mousse filling, and is estimated to yield 20 slices.

While some shoppers have already spotted the returning fall desserts, Costco indicated that the rollout will be gradual, with the items expected to be available in all stores and regions before Thanksgiving. For those looking for non-pumpkin options, Costco is also selling a Cherry Almond Coffee Cake for $11.99 and an Apple Berry Pie, both seasonal offerings.
