Australian reality TV personality Kimberley White has expressed her shock and disgust after finding a chicken head in a bag of chicken necks purchased from Woolworths. White, known for her role in the series Gold Wars Downunder, shared a video on Instagram detailing the unsettling discovery.
In the clip, White explained that she was preparing to feed chicken necks to her dogs when she reached into the bag and noticed an unusual item. "So I just went to feed the dogs some chicken necks from Woolworths and just reached in the bag and I thought 'that looks a little bit different'," she said. "Can you tell what that is? It's the chicken's head!"
A spokesperson for Woolworths stated that the company had not yet received an official complaint from the customer. Without knowing which store the purchase was made from, they are unable to investigate the supply chain.
The supermarket chain did, however, confirm that customers are entitled to a full refund or replacement for any product that does not meet quality standards. "If any customer has a concern about the quality of the product they receive, we always invite them to return it in-store for a refund or replacement," the spokesperson said.
White, a former model and Gold Coast socialite, transitioned to gold mining with her husband Richard White. The couple purchased four gold mining leases in Central Queensland and are documenting their experiences in the Channel Ten reality series Gold Wars. "I definitely didn't think I would go from living the Gold Coast lifestyle to becoming a gold miner," she told NT News last year, comparing her new life to a "Real Housewife mixing it with Gold Rush."
