Anthropic, a prominent artificial intelligence company, has reported its quarterly revenue has grown to $17 billion, although it continues to post a net loss for the period. The disclosure came in an updated filing for its initial public offering (IPO), which is anticipated to be a major Wall Street debut.

The San Francisco-based company, known for its Claude chatbot, also revealed significant commitments to AI computing and infrastructure. Anthropic has pledged to spend $895.4 billion on such resources, with $70 billion allocated for the next 12 months.

While the company's revenue has seen substantial growth, reaching $33.2 billion in the first nine months of the year, it reported a net loss of $104 billion. This figure includes a $94 billion charge attributed to an accounting adjustment related to financing agreements. On a quarterly basis, the loss was $23.3 billion on the $17 billion in revenue.

The IPO filing did not provide details on the expected amount to be raised or the projected share price when Anthropic eventually lists on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol "ANT."
