British rapper and YouTube personality Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, known professionally as Yung Filly, has been granted permission by a Perth court to travel to the United Kingdom while on bail for allegations of sexual assault, a judge ruled on Friday.

Barrientos, 30, has been on bail in Western Australia since October 2024 after being accused of raping and assaulting a woman in a Perth hotel room on Sept. 29, 2024, following a performance at the Bar1 Nightclub in Hillarys. His lawyers applied to vary bail conditions to allow him to return to Britain; Perth District Court approved the application under strict conditions.

Judge Gary William Massey authorised a limited period away from Australia, telling Barrientos he must surrender his passport and return to Perth in January. The variation effectively gives the Colombia-born entertainer a roughly three-month window to visit the UK before he is required to resume bail conditions in Australia. The case is listed for mention at Perth District Court on Feb. 5, and a trial is scheduled to begin on July 20, 2026.

Barrientos has denied multiple charges brought earlier this year. He rejected three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, one count of strangulation and four counts of sexual penetration without consent, and has not yet entered pleas for two further charges of sexual penetration without consent.

Separately, Spanish authorities have investigated an allegation that Barrientos raped a tourist in a hotel in Magaluf after a performance in the Spanish holiday resort the previous summer. The alleged victim, believed to be around 20 years old, reported the incident to police in Britain after returning from her holiday; UK authorities forwarded information to the Spanish Civil Guard, which passed details to an investigating court in Palma. The Majorcan probe is being conducted behind closed doors, as is standard in Spain for investigative proceedings. It was unclear on Friday whether the alleged victim had been questioned by the investigating judge.

Barrientos moved to London with his mother and sister at age two and launched a YouTube channel in 2013. He later appeared on BBC programs including Hot Property, Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer and Would I Lie to You?. He has appeared alongside other online creators and groups such as Beta Squad and the Sidemen. His YouTube channel has 1.8 million subscribers and his Instagram account has 2.7 million followers; his most-viewed song, "Grey," has about 19 million views on YouTube.

Court documents and reporting say Barrientos has remained in Australia since being granted bail in October 2024. The prosecution alleges the Perth incident occurred after his performance at Bar1 Nightclub in Hillarys. Defence counsel argued for a variation of bail to allow the defendant to return to the UK for the first time in almost a year; the court granted that request subject to the surrender of his passport and a return deadline.

The Perth District Court order requires Barrientos to comply with bail conditions and appear at scheduled court dates. The case will continue to move through the Western Australian judicial process with further mention on Feb. 5, ahead of the July trial date.
