Detective Inspector Phil Griffiths stated that officers have been reviewing CCTV footage, examining forensic evidence, and speaking with individuals who may possess vital information. Patrols have been increased in the area since the incident.
"We know the park would have been busy on a Monday morning with people enjoying the sunshine. We need to hear from you if you saw anything that was suspicious," Griffiths said.
