A violent disturbance occurred at Mexico City International Airport's Terminal 2 on Wednesday when a group of passengers, allegedly drunk, attacked customer service representatives after being removed from an Aeroméxico flight. The incident, captured in widely shared footage, depicts several individuals engaging in a physical altercation with airport personnel.

One traveler was seen brandishing a stanchion pole as a weapon after breaking through queue-control barriers. Another individual appeared to go behind a customer service desk and throw a water bottle across the terminal. In one moment captured on video, an employee attempted to restrain a passenger who was wielding the metal pole.

Witnesses reported that the passengers were ejected from the Aeroméxico flight after one of them allegedly damaged the aircraft prior to takeoff. The group is believed to be related.

Airport security and bystanders intervened in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. Following the brawl, the Mexico City Airport issued a statement confirming that the individuals involved were brought before a civic court to maintain order and prevent further disruption.
