Typhoon Noul made landfall in southern China on Sunday morning, bringing strong winds and heavy rain to the region. The storm, described as the strongest to make landfall in China so far this year by state media, led to widespread flight disruptions.

Hong Kong International Airport canceled approximately 360 passenger flights due to the severe weather conditions. In the city, scaffolding on a multi-storey building along Cheung Sha Wan Road collapsed under the powerful winds on Saturday. Police reported receiving multiple calls regarding the incident, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The typhoon's approach prompted significant precautions as it traversed the region.
