Balinese immigration officers have detained three foreign women, including a Russian national, for allegedly offering sexual services and violating their visa conditions. The women face deportation and potential entry bans from Indonesia.

The operation began after authorities received resident complaints and conducted cyber patrols targeting suspicious online activity involving foreign nationals, according to The Bali Times. Immigration officials identified a suspicious website allegedly linked to a 29-year-old Russian woman, identified by the initials AS, who was reportedly offering services for approximately $1,000 USD.

While the exact amount charged by the Russian woman is under investigation, authorities confirmed that two other women were also detained. JN, 35, from Uganda, was allegedly charging $140 for a two-hour session, and BDC, 32, from Nigeria, was found to have overstayed her visa by 54 days.

All three women were found at the same property, a villa in the Padangsambian area of Denpasar. The Russian and Ugandan women were reportedly in Indonesia on a Visa on Arrival (VoA).

Prostitution is illegal in Indonesia. Officials are investigating whether other individuals or a broader network are involved in the alleged online prostitution activities.
