A third teenage boy has been arrested following a stabbing incident at a Halloween party in Chandler's Ford, Hampshire, where five teenagers were injured. Police were called to the party on Park Road shortly after 10:30 p.m. GMT on Saturday after an unidentified group gained entry to the event.
Two of the victims, aged 16 and 17, remain hospitalized. One 17-year-old is in a life-threatening condition, while the others have since been discharged. A 16-year-old boy from Bristol was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is in custody along with the two boys arrested on Monday.
Witnesses reported that a fight began after a group entered the party by climbing over a garden fence, though the motive remains unclear. One attendee described seeing a victim reveal a stab wound before collapsing outside the house. Police have cordoned off sections of Park Road and Valley Road as they continue their investigation. They are reviewing video footage and witness statements to determine the sequence of events and identify all involved parties.
Detective Chief Inspector Elizabeth Pirie stated that while three arrests have been made, the investigation is ongoing and urged anyone with information, however minor, to come forward. Hampshire Police confirmed that their team is working to understand the events of the night and identify everyone involved.
