Leah Stewart, 34, has woken briefly from an induced coma more than a week after a shark attack at Sydney's Coogee Beach, her family reported. Stewart sustained multiple bites to her arms and legs and experienced significant blood loss during the June 13 incident.
Doctors reduced Stewart's medication on Tuesday, allowing her to wake and communicate. She reportedly told her mother and partner, who were at her bedside, "I love you" and inquired about her daughter's well-being. Her brother described her brief awakening as a
