A former Police Scotland officer has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of raping two women and subjecting a third to a campaign of abuse.
Cameron Ross, 39, committed the offenses between 2012 and 2014 in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, and between 2019 and 2022 in Inverness. He was suspended from duty in January 2024 when the allegations surfaced and resigned from the force last month.
A jury at the High Court in Edinburgh convicted Ross of the charges in May following a trial. He had denied all allegations.
