Prince Harry's accommodation arrangements for a recent trip to Britain faced complications when a request to stay at Buckingham Palace was denied. The Duke of Sussex had initially declined an offer for his family to stay at the palace but later changed his mind and asked to stay for one night himself.
According to a spokesperson for Prince Harry, it was "disappointing" that the King's offer had been "withdrawn at the last moment." The Royal Household stated that the necessary hospitality and staffing provisions were no longer available, as royal residences require a minimum notice period for hosting guests.
Prince Harry arrived in London alone for the visit.
