Funerals have been held for two Palestinian teenagers shot dead this week in the occupied West Bank. Omar al-Naasan and Khalil Abu Alia were killed when settlers and soldiers entered the village of al-Mughayyir, south of Nablus.

Their deaths occur amidst frequent settler attacks in the area. "We expect that when our sons walk in the street, they are likely to return to you injured or killed," Mohammed Al-Naasan, Omar's father, told the BBC.

Israel's military stated that forces fired on "instigators of a violent riot" and that the incident is currently under review. The United Nations has reported that since the beginning of the year, over 80 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces or settlers in the West Bank.
