A Pakistani cargo plane carrying five crew members went missing late Tuesday after losing contact with air traffic controllers off the coast of the southern port city of Karachi, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority announced.
Search and rescue operations are currently underway in the Arabian Sea. The authority posted on X that the cause of the aircraft's disappearance was not immediately known.
