Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano, has entered a new phase of activity with lava flowing from a recently formed eruptive vent. The event, which began on August 7, was captured by videographer Emilio Messina, who documented lava emerging from a fissure approximately 9,000 feet above sea level. The flow was observed heading into the Valle del Bove.

In addition to the lava flow, footage also showed explosive activity emanating from Etna’s Voragine crater, indicating the volcano's ongoing energetic state. This latest eruption highlights the dynamic nature of Mount Etna and its frequent volcanic displays.
