A 26-year-old man, identified as Jamie Fleming of Ballyclare, died following a two-vehicle collision on the Ballymena Road near Doagh, County Antrim on Friday.
Police confirmed that Fleming, who was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash, which occurred around 1:40 p.m. BST, involved the motorcycle and a blue Skoda Enyaq.
Authorities are appealing to the public for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
Fleming's father, Alan, expressed the family's devastation on social media, thanking the community for their support and requesting privacy during their period of grief. His former school, Ballyclare Secondary School, also issued a statement remembering Jamie fondly and offering condolences to his family and friends. A funeral notice from Fleming & Cuthbert Funeral Directors stated that Jamie would be remembered.
