A woman in regional New South Wales was horrified when a group of men repeatedly swung an axe at her home during an attempted break-in. Disturbing CCTV footage shared on social media shows three men attempting to gain entry to a home in Albury, near the Victorian border, on July 27 at approximately 6:50 p.m.

The footage captures one of the men kicking the front door multiple times. Another individual, wearing a high-visibility jacket, is seen striking the front of the house with an axe. A third man then approaches the door, pulls back the flyscreen, and aggressively kicks the door.

None of the men were successful in entering the home, and they eventually left the property. A local resident described the video as "ugly and frightening," adding that many in the community feel on edge following the incident.
