A large fire erupted at a Wildberries warehouse located outside of Moscow on August 16, sending massive plumes of smoke and flames into the sky. Firefighters responded to the scene to battle the blaze, which reportedly began after Ukrainian drones struck the region overnight.
According to Andrei Vorobyov, the Governor of the Moscow region, an 83-year-old man was killed as a result of the drone strikes. The extent of the damage to the Wildberries facility and the specific cause of the fire at the warehouse remain under investigation.
