A man has been arrested in Arbroath, Scotland, following the death of a nine-year-old girl. Police Scotland were called to the Elliot Industrial Estate in the Angus town shortly after midnight on reports of a child found with serious injuries.
The girl was transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where she was later pronounced deceased. Authorities have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with her death, which is currently being treated as suspicious. Police Scotland stated that specialist officers are providing support to the girl's family, and inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
