King Charles III was drenched during the independence day celebrations in Antigua and Barbuda on Sunday when a sudden, torrential downpour interrupted the open-air proceedings. While Queen Camilla was quickly given an umbrella, the King was observed gesturing, apparently in an attempt to be provided with one himself.
The incident occurred while the royal couple were standing in an open-air stadium during the island nation's independence day parade.
