During the drill, heavy movement of security forces and navy vessels is anticipated, and residents may hear gunfire and explosions.
The military emphasized that there is no concern of a security incident. The IDF made the announcement on Monday night.
This exercise comes amid ongoing regional tensions. The IDF has previously reported operations near the Gaza border, including strikes against Hamas operatives.
