Iran has criticized the United States' response to recent peace negotiations, demanding that Washington explicitly address a list of seven conditions put forth by Tehran. Iranian Security Chief Mohsen Rezaei stated on X that the U.S. response was "not convincing" and that America "must fully and explicitly address Iran’s seven conditions and act upon them."

Rezaei indicated that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is contingent upon Iran’s demands being met. These conditions, previously rejected by President Trump, include demands for war reparations and an end to U.S. economic pressure and naval blockades.

The proposal notably omits any discussion of Iran's nuclear and missile programs, deferring those issues to later talks. The seven-point deal remains the primary proposal on the table from Iran, according to reports.
