Fourteen people died on Sunday when a helicopter crashed in the eastern coastal city of Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia, according to state media. The aircraft belonged to Aramco, the kingdom's state-owned oil company. The crash occurred at 6:00 a.m. local time, with all occupants killed. All victims were Saudi citizens. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the incident. The Saudi energy ministry offered condolences to the families of those who died. Ras Tanura is home to a major Aramco oil refinery, one of the largest in the Middle East. Crude oil loading operations at the site had resumed on Friday following a nearly four-month pause linked to the conflict in the Middle East, Reuters reported.
