Police are continuing their inquiries after five boys were hospitalized with serious injuries following a Halloween party in Chandler's Ford.

The incident occurred on Saturday night, resulting in three 16-year-olds and two 17-year-olds being taken to hospital. Eastleigh MP Liz Jarvis expressed the community's shock and sadness, stating, "My thoughts are with the parents of the boys, the boys and the whole community." She urged residents to remain calm and allow the police to conduct their investigation.

Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Elizabeth Pirie appealed for anyone who was at the party or has relevant footage to come forward. "We are trying to identify anyone who had been at the party, whether that be having directly witnessed what took place, having filmed any footage which may be relevant, or who may be able to help us identify the unknown group," Pirie stated.

Law enforcement has established cordons along Park Road and Valley Road as officers interview witnesses and gather potential video evidence from nearby homes. Residents in neighboring streets have also been contacted by police.

Local churches, St Boniface Church and St Martin in the Wood, have announced they will be open during specific hours to offer support to the community in the wake of the incident.
