Former "The Bachelor" star Sam Wood is preparing to make another appeal after being denied bail on domestic violence charges. Wood, 46, was arrested on October 3 and subsequently refused bail by the Supreme Court in Queensland on Friday.
Prosecutors allege that Wood strangled and assaulted his wife, Snezana, during a holiday in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. Following the initial denial of bail by a magistrate, Wood was transferred to a maximum-security prison in Brisbane.
He appealed the first bail refusal, but the Supreme Court upheld the decision last Friday. Wood is now scheduled to appeal this denial again, this time in the Appeal Court, as early as November 6.
