A chaotic scene unfolded at a hotel in Santa Susanna, Catalonia, Spain, when a fight broke out among vacationers over a pool chair, leaving a 13-year-old British girl with a bloody nose and a suspected fracture.
The altercation began when the teenage girl sat in a chaise lounge, unaware it was already occupied by another family, according to witness accounts. The situation quickly devolved as a topless man reportedly began punching the girl, while others joined in the melee, pulling hair and engaging in wrestling.
Witnesses described the scene as resembling a "full-scale riot" and a "saloon-bar brawl," with women heard screaming for children to leave the pool area. The injured girl was seen being led away with blood streaming from her nose. Other individuals sustained cuts and bruises during the widespread fighting.
Hotel staff intervened to break up the fight and contacted the police. However, reports indicate that no arrests were made following the incident.
The resort is located approximately 40 miles from Barcelona. The fight involved numerous guests, with footage showing people grappling near the pool.
