A body has been found in Brisbane as authorities continue their search for missing restaurateur John Kilroy, 74. Kilroy was last seen on Sunday evening when he reportedly left for a walk along the Brisbane River and did not return.
Kilroy, who had been secretly battling cancer for five years, was staying with friends and undergoing treatment at the time of his disappearance. A friend had expressed concern for his well-being, stating he was in significant pain before going for his walk. Police were notified following his failure to return.
The discovery was made in the Brisbane CBD during the ongoing search efforts.
