Two Afghan men are accused of raping and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old autistic girl on a commuter train in England, a court has heard. Baryalai Rahimi, 25, and Mirebadurahman Sadat, 29, allegedly followed the girl onto a London-bound train on February 5 after spotting her at a station in Kent.

Inner London Crown Court was told the men approached the girl and said, "We share everything, girls, drinks, everything," before allegedly taking turns to abuse her. Both men deny a total of 20 charges, which include multiple counts of sexual activity with a child.

Footage shown in court depicted Rahimi appearing to touch the girl's chest area while she was on his lap. The prosecution alleges Rahimi raped the girl three times in the train's toilet cubicle, while Sadat is accused of assaulting her twice. DNA evidence matching Rahimi was reportedly found on the toilet floor and on the girl's clothing.

After leaving the toilet, the men allegedly swapped seats, with Sadat sitting next to the girl. The prosecutor described the sequence of events as appearing "almost as if Mr Rahimi was handing over the girl to Mr Sadat." The court heard that at one point, Sadat followed the girl into the toilet cubicle.

CCTV footage reportedly showed the two men leaving the train at London Bridge station and later boarding another train with the girl. The girl had been reported missing earlier that day. Police located her at Peterborough Station later that evening and took her home.

Rahimi, of Southall, west London, denies three counts of rape, two of sexual assault, one of assault by penetration, and six alternative counts of sexual activity with a child. Sadat, of Cricklewood, northwest London, denies two counts of assault by penetration, two of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent, and four alternative counts of sexual activity with a child. The trial is expected to last three weeks.
