A Spanish castle dating back to the 11th century has been listed for sale at €7.9 million, approximately $6.76 million USD.

The Castillo de Arcos, situated in the province of Cádiz and overlooking the Guadalete Valley, was initially constructed as a fortress before being transformed into a residential palace for the Dukes of Arcos in the 14th century.

The property is perched on a cliff edge 100 meters above the ground and comprises 60 rooms, including 12 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, along with courtyards and gardens. It also features a 25-meter library, vaulted ceilings, and a terrace offering expansive views.

This historic estate is being sold by the Marquis of Tamarón, Santiago de Mora-Figueroa, and is on the market for the first time since 1922. He acquired the castle in 1922 with the goal of preventing its ruin.
