A weekly quiz from BBC News aims to test readers' attention to global events from the past seven days. The quiz, compiled by Grace Dean, covers a range of topics, including international relations, academic news, and royal events.
Recent questions have touched upon significant developments, such as Iran's announcement of being in the final stages of a deal with Oman concerning the Strait of Hormuz. The quiz also featured news of a Cambridge professor's resignation amidst a plagiarism dispute and the birth of a baby girl to Princess Eugenie.
One question specifically asked about a public figure's interaction with the DVLA regarding a classic car. The quiz format encourages engagement with current affairs and seeks to highlight notable occurrences that may have been overlooked in the news cycle.
