Bachelor Nation alum Tyler Cameron has announced his engagement to model Tate Madden. Cameron, 33, revealed the proposal on Saturday, marking the culmination of their two-year relationship.

The reality television personality shared two photographs from the proposal, which took place on Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys. One image shows Cameron on one knee, dressed in white, while another captures the couple embracing after Madden accepted his proposal. Cameron captioned the post, "Better late than never they say."

Cameron first publicly acknowledged having a girlfriend in July 2024, though he kept her identity private until October of that year, when the couple made their relationship Instagram official. He had previously explained his desire for privacy, telling E! News in 2024 that he wanted to ensure they were in a strong place before going public due to the scrutiny he had experienced in the past.

Cameron and Madden met through a mutual friend, as Madden shared on the "Trading Secrets" podcast in 2024. She recalled that Cameron did not initially remember meeting her on several occasions.

In April 2025, Cameron spoke to Us Weekly about Madden, stating, "I think she is everything that I’ve ever wanted in somebody. She is also my best friend on top of that. I think that’s all a good recipe right there."

Tyler Cameron with Gigi Hadid in 2019

Cameron gained national recognition in 2019 as a contestant on Hannah Brown's season of "The Bachelorette." Following his time on the show, he was briefly linked to supermodel Gigi Hadid in August 2019 before their reported breakup in October of the same year. His subsequent relationships included Camila Kendra from January to August 2021 and a brief connection with model Paige Lorenze in the summer of 2022.

Congratulations poured in from fellow "Bachelor" alumni, including Colton Underwood, JoJo Fletcher, and Justin Glaze, with Cameron's brother Ryan also commenting on the news.
