Two men have been charged with multiple counts of rape after an 18-year-old woman was allegedly attacked. The incident occurred between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, at an address on Manners Road in Southsea, Hampshire.
Tony Goldsmith, 45, of Enfield, north London, and Bobby Watson, 46, of Waltham Abbey, Essex, each face three counts of rape. Police have stated the victim was raped by two men she did not know.
The pair have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Monday, June 29. Detectives from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are continuing to investigate the full circumstances surrounding the alleged attack.
