During a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in the Oval Office early in his term, then-President Donald Trump reportedly threw a tablet computer off his desk due to frustration with a technical issue.

The incident, reported by The Wall Street Journal, occurred when Trump, Macron, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were attempting a video call. An official present at the meeting told the Journal that Trump "lobbed the device over the Resolute Desk and onto the floor."

This event is part of a pattern of alleged outbursts by Trump when displeased. In a separate incident detailed by former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, Trump allegedly threw his microphone and stormed out of a "Meet the Press" interview last month.

Hutchinson also testified in 2022 about a separate incident where Trump allegedly threw his lunch against a wall in anger over the 2020 election results, leaving "ketchup dripping down the wall, and there was a shattered porcelain plate on the floor." She further described multiple instances during her tenure where Trump would throw dishes or flip tablecloths, causing items to fall and break.

These accounts suggest a history of impulsive reactions to frustrating situations by the former president.
