The FBI has discovered two additional storage units rented by Thomas Markle containing sexually explicit images of children, the agency said Friday. The FBI arrested Markle, 82, at a rehabilitation center in Lakeland, Florida, where he was staying after a lower left leg amputation.

Markle was taken away in his wheelchair by agents. When asked by the Daily Mail if he was a pedophile, the Pennsylvania-born former Hollywood lighting director responded, "No."

The FBI's investigation began after the Daily Mail discovered a storage unit near Markle's Mexican beachfront home containing images of child sex abuse at the end of October. The Daily Mail subsequently provided this information to the FBI.

Agents then located two more storage units rented by Markle in Los Angeles, where he lived until relocating to Mexico in 2011. The Department of Justice has charged Thomas Markle with possession of child pornography based on these findings. "The Department of Justice today charged Thomas Markle with possession of child pornography after discovering an additional two storage units in Los Angeles," the FBI stated.
