The primary defendant faces charges including rape, attempted rape, assault by penetration, sexual assault, conspiracy to rape, conspiracy to assault by penetration, and conspiracy to administer a substance with intent. He also allegedly shared intimate photographs or film of his wife without her consent for sexual gratification.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 24 at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court, preceding a 12-week trial. The identities of the accused men have been released. Some defendants have been pictured arriving at court.
