The competition intensifies on The Challenge: Cutthroat as the Gray team prepares to nominate two members for elimination. Host TJ Lavin informed the team captains, Leonardo Dionicio and Cassidy Clark, that they would be responsible for selecting one player, while the rest of the team would vote for the second.

Adding to the strategic maneuvering, members of the Orange team, including Chris "CT" Tamburello, Tori Deal, Deb Chubb, and Michele Fitzgerald, were observed spying on the Gray team's deliberations. Tamburello used a makeshift "spy phone"—two cups connected by a string—to communicate with the Gray team, eliciting amusement from some members.

Dionicio indicated his initial choice for nomination would be Adrienne Naylor, stating, "At the end of the day, we are a team, and we're the only ones who can get us the dub." Meanwhile, Clark revealed her intention to leave the decision between Nurys Mateo and Sydney Segal to the rest of the team, aiming to minimize personal conflict.

The Gray team's upcoming nominations and the subsequent elimination will be featured in the new episode premiering Wednesday on Paramount+.
