Tennis player Taylor Fritz and social media influencer Morgan Riddle ended their six-year relationship in April, with Riddle citing her unwillingness to take on a parental role for Fritz's son and her desire to be based in New York as primary reasons for the split. Riddle, who has a career as an influencer with numerous brand opportunities, stated it was not the right time for her to become a stepmother and preferred to live full-time in New York, rather than California where Fritz resides part-time.
Riddle announced the breakup via TikTok. Fritz, 28, has not publicly commented on their separation. He shares his son, Jordan, with his ex-wife, Raquel Pedraza. Fritz has been seen spending time with model Olivia Jade Giannulli, 26, since shortly after his split from Riddle was made public. The two were reportedly first seen together in May in West Hollywood and later attended the wedding of fellow tennis pro Tommy Paul and influencer Paige Lorenze in July. They were also photographed together in New York in August.
Sources have indicated that Fritz and Giannulli are enjoying each other's company but are not in an exclusive relationship. Despite presenting a public image of having moved on, Riddle is reportedly bothered by the speed at which Fritz has seemingly transitioned to dating Giannulli. "In her eyes, he moved on very quickly," a source told Page Six.
Riddle was seen at the US Open on opening weekend, an appearance that sources attribute to pre-existing brand partnership contracts and her own company, The 400 Club. While supporting Naomi Osaka, she also fulfilled professional obligations. Giannulli has not been seen at the tournament supporting Fritz.
Paige Lorenze, Fritz's friend and the wife of Tommy Paul, has publicly supported Giannulli, calling her a "delicious cupcake" on social media. Fritz is scheduled to play Francisco Cerundolo in the US Open on September 5.
