Susanna Reid, presenter for "Good Morning Britain," has revealed her approach to occasional alcohol consumption during her annual trip to Ibiza with her sons. Reid, who generally maintains a teetotal lifestyle, allows herself one day per year to indulge in drinks.

During a recent trip to Ibiza, Reid shared photos from the O Beach club, where she posted with dancers holding placards encouraging viewers to vote for "Good Morning Britain" in the National Television Awards. She explained in an interview with The Mirror that this particular day also marked her annual allowance for alcohol.

"Generally, as you know, I don't drink. I allow myself one day when I have a drink. So I have Paloma, which is tequila and grapefruit," Reid stated. She clarified that while she enjoys a couple of drinks at O Beach, she does so in moderation. "I don't go mad," she added.

Reid, 55, embraced the holiday atmosphere, stating, "I loved it because I'm 55 years old, and if you're not going to go out and enjoy yourself in a swimsuit, what are you doing in Ibiza at 55? It was great fun."

The television presenter, who wakes at 4 a.m. for her hosting duties, also described her holiday routine, which includes early morning exercise and beach walks. She departs from the beach club around 8 p.m., leaving her sons to continue their evening plans.

Reid is a mother to sons Sam, 24, Finn, 21, and Jack, 20, from her previous marriage. She previously commented on her summer trips to Ibiza, noting it was "amazing to really enjoy it with my boys now they are old enough to go clubbing."

Following her summer break, Reid is set to return to "Good Morning Britain" next week. The show is contending for the Best Daytime Programme prize at the NTAs on September 8.
