A widely shared clip on X, formerly Twitter, captured an embarrassing moment for Twitch streamer Raphael Solo, who has over 61,000 followers. During a livestream, Solo invited an unnamed woman to dinner. Initially, the interaction seemed positive, with the woman appearing receptive to the invitation.
However, the situation escalated when the woman moved to another room to say goodbye to a friend. Unaware that her microphone was still transmitting audio, she was heard expressing frustration with "pretending and acting" as if she were interested in Solo. She further commented that he "wasn't even cute" and that she did not want to be with him.
Solo, who was visible on camera, appeared stunned by the overheard conversation. When the woman returned, she greeted him warmly, but Solo confronted her with her earlier remarks, stating he could listen back to the recording.
The woman initially attempted to deny the comments, attributing them to her friend. However, after Solo played the recording, she admitted to making the statements. She then claimed her remarks were only in reference to not wanting to go out because her "social battery had run out."
Solo responded by stating, "It was nice to meet you, it's no hard feelings. I know we just met." He then told her to "delete my number" as she gathered her belongings and left.
The video clip of the incident garnered significant attention online, exceeding 1.6 million views on X. Many users commented on the streamer's unfortunate experience, with some noting the potential to save him wasted time and money. Others remarked on the humiliation of discovering someone was not genuinely interested and was harboring negative opinions.
