Axel Rudakubana, 19, has been charged with four offenses that allegedly occurred at HMP Belmarsh between May and October 2025. The charges include assault on an emergency worker on two separate occasions, attempted grievous bodily harm, and unauthorized possession of an offensive weapon in prison.
Rudakubana was sentenced in January 2025 to 52 years for the murder of seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, six-year-old Bebe King, and nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar. He also injured eight other children and two adults in an attack during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in July 2024. Earlier this month, he was transferred to a secure psychiatric hospital.
He is scheduled to appear remotely at Westminster Magistrates' Court on September 11.
