Sean "Diddy" Combs' projected release date from federal prison has been rescheduled for February 5, 2028, according to the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey.

This latest adjustment follows several previous changes to the hip-hop mogul's release timeline. In July, the Federal Bureau of Prisons indicated a shift from February 23, 2028, to January 24, 2028. The earlier change reportedly occurred after Combs was involved in an altercation with another inmate.

Earlier in September, the agency's website had shown a release date of February 20, 2028. Prior to these changes, Combs was placed in solitary confinement following a reported scuffle with fellow prisoners in July. An insider stated that Combs "held his own" during the incident before prison staff intervened.

Combs was released from solitary confinement in August, according to reports. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has declined to comment on inmate confinement conditions, citing privacy, safety, and security reasons.

In July, Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution. He was found not guilty on charges of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and racketeering conspiracy. He was sentenced to 50 months in prison and transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, to the facility in Fort Dix.

Combs is also facing numerous civil lawsuits that include accusations of sexual assault, drugging, and trafficking. He has consistently maintained his innocence in these matters.
