A 42-year-old deli worker in Queens was repeatedly stabbed on June 21 when he attempted to prevent three individuals from stealing two cases of Modelo beer. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. at El Patroncito Deli Grocery on 108th Street near 41st Street in Corona.
According to police and law enforcement sources, the worker observed the suspects fleeing the store with the beer and pursued them. The individuals then allegedly stabbed the worker multiple times in the back before escaping with the stolen merchandise.
