Princess Andre, 19, was seen at the launch of the new CARMEX Shimmer Lip Gloss Collection in London on Wednesday, marking her first public appearance since emotionally discussing her mother Katie Price's past struggles. Andre appeared alongside other celebrities, including Samie Elishi and Vicky Pattison, at the event held at Supermax.

The public appearance comes days after Andre and her brother, Junior, shared intimate details about their childhood in the Sky documentary "Katie Price: Nothing To Hide." The siblings reflected on a period in the late 2010s when their mother, Katie Price, experienced a public breakdown, including struggles with depression and cocaine addiction, following the collapse of her marriage to Kieran Hayler.

During the documentary, Junior, now 21, described the period as the "most difficult time of my life." Princess, who was 10 at the time, recalled feeling unable to discuss the situation with her mother, stating, "I didn't know what was going on and I couldn't talk to mum about it because she wasn't there." The children, along with their younger siblings Jett and Bunny, reportedly had to fend for themselves during this time.

Princess shared a poignant memory of her mother giving her a blanket sprayed with perfume as an attachment during periods of absence, which she would clutch while crying from loneliness. Junior recounted waking up at 3:30 a.m. to find his mother under the influence of drugs, an experience that frightened him and solidified his perception of her struggles.

At age 14, Junior moved to live with his father, Peter Andre, while Princess chose to remain with her mother. Junior expressed his feelings of inadequacy, questioning why his mother was not seeking help for them. The situation escalated in September 2021 when Katie Price was involved in a car crash while driving under the influence, an event she later discussed in the documentary with heartbreak, acknowledging her inability to care for herself, let alone her children.

Following the crash, Price pleaded guilty to drink-driving, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance. She received a suspended sentence, a driving ban, and a court-mandated stint in rehab, where she was diagnosed with ADHD. Junior expressed relief that his mother is alive and has since sought help, stating, "I feel like I've got my mum back." He also voiced a hope that his mother would find more comfort within herself and rely less on external validation.

The documentary also touched upon Price's recent marriage to Lee Andrews in Dubai. Junior expressed bewilderment at the quick marriage, calling it "the most silliest, stupidest thing." The notes indicate that Andrews has faced accusations of conning ex-partners, which he denies. His disappearance and subsequent imprisonment in Dubai, initially claimed by Price to be a kidnapping, added further complexity to the narrative.

Price has been married four times previously. Her first marriage was to Peter Andre, followed by a marriage to cage fighter Alex Reid, and then to Kieran Hayler, with whom she has her youngest children. Each of her past marriages has had public scrutiny and eventual dissolution.
